It seems that Daniel has become the Papa Bear of his team, working with teammates and taking a leadership role with his less experienced members. Christian loves the reflection of a cityscape. Zac likes how it is tactile and thinks she needs to add more shape to her looks. Nina likes the simplicity in the shape and the movement in the cutout panels of the dress with the pop of color peeking through.
My collection is a combination of femininity and sophistication. Between Brazil and New York, I have experienced so much of both worlds that I can't help but be inspired by both. Brazil has an exotic, feminine way of life. There are still 14 designers left on the show. Normally, everyone left by fashion week gets to design a collection with the same funding available to all in order to create believable decoys and thwart spoilers.
Over in Patricia and Stanley's side of the work room, things were getting tense as a condescending fog settled in from a strong onshore flow of Stanley's belittlement. I know Stanley, Patricia is crazy, but at least she finishes her garments, and although her process may not make sense to you, at least give her a little wiggle room here.
There was, of course, some trouble in the workroom. Stanley's attempts to control Patricia were thwarted by her feigning agreement and then moving on to do what she was going to do anyway. Her show stopper is this blue dress with things that almost look like miniature mirrors hanging from it. At the outset of last week's Project Runway episode, Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn meet the designers on the runway to reveal the details of their upcoming European adventures.
As the teams are sketching their ideas, Team Keeping It Real quickly realize that they need to pair up because of the number of looks they have to design. Season 11 really sneaked up on me, and as a result I was overcome anew as each wave of disappointment came crashing down upon me.
